CONTEXTUAL CRITERION
- Respond to contextual, geographical and digital issues identified in Project01A
- Develop an understanding on alternative contextual opportunities and parameters.
- Materials, tectonics, forms, structures and the culture of the existing urban fabric are enhanced and extended into the design and development of a built environment
- Proposal responds to the opportunity to expand the proximity, type and quantity of venues accessible via public transport, river and bicycle/foot.
DEVELOPMENT CRITERION
- Establish parameters in response to site analysis and investigations to allow a refined architectural resolution.
- Flexible Architecture: the architecture is adaptable, transformable, mobile and interactive.
- Conscious Architecture: the architecture intuitively and automatically adapts to change.
The architectural composition residential, commercial and entertainment venues, should respond individually and compositely to the dynamic conditions of the Howard Smith Wharves context.
